My name is EngChoon LEE. I work as an accountant and a financial planner. I am a nature lover and have great passion in nature photography. Over the years I have taken thousands of images of nature. I have also collected many motivational and inspirational quotes from the greatest minds of the world, to continuously motivate myself to greater heights.
I started this website in August 2005 to share with my friends and visitors the nature images that I have taken. I also created many mini inspirational posters using nature images I captured and the motivational & inspirational quotes that I collected over the years. I call the mini online inspirational poster as Inspirational iQuote (iQuote - stands for image Quote). I send out the Inspirational iQuote to my subscribers every week. The subscription is free, I just want to share with others the inspiration and motivation from the greatest gurus and at the same time hope to create awareness in the conservation of our living planet.
I live in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. I spend time travelling around Malaysia, capturing images of her abundant natural beauties and wonders. According to WWF-Malaysia, Malaysia is recognized as one of the top twelve countries in the world for her natural heritage. The tropical forests of Borneo, which forms part of Malaysia is home to the Orang Utan, one of the only four great ape species in the world. Malaysia is also home to the world’s oldest rainforest, older than those in the Amazon and Congo. It was developed 130 million years ago, far earlier than rainforests in any part of the world (source: Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board).
Malaysia is a multi-racial country with diversed cultures, providing lots of great photography opportunities. I always carry my camera wherever I go because I do not want to miss any good photo opportunities. Through my eyes and the camera lens, every object can make an interesting image and I often get amazed by the images that I captured.
